　　Founded in August, 2002, GIP as an important part of Guangling New District has become an attractive new star in east China. To the east is Liaojiagou, a state class one protective zone. To the west is the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, a golden water transportation channel. To the south is the public harbor. The state road No. 328 is to the north. Located in the river bank area of eastern Yangzhou, GIP enjoys swift and convenient transportation as well as coordinated industries and facilities. The first stage plan covers an area of 10.24 square kilometers which focus on commercial distribution zone, river bank residential areas as well as industrial processing zone. It has become only one comprehensive development park in Yangzhou and a major carrier platform of development along the river banks in the whole city. GIP focuses on the development of such industries as automobile parts and fittings, high precision machinery and electronic information, etc.

　　Infrastructure

　　Water supply
　　There are 4 water works in Yangzhou with yearly water supply of 70 million tons. The synthetically qualified rate of water is 100%. A running water station was built in the GIP, which can supply 20 thousand tons of water per day.

　　Power supply
　　The four power stations in Yangzhou, which have double loops, can provide electric power continually and sufficiently. There is an 110KV electricity exchanging station in the GIP, which can supply continuous electricity by double circuit.

　　Gas supply
　 　 There are a variety of industrial gases. The gas resource is rich, which can provide oxygen, hydrogen, liquid nitrogen, and all kinds of protecting gases to enterprises. Natural gas tubing can be linked to the borderline of enterprises in GIP.

　　Drainage
　　 Rainwater and sewage are drained separately. After the sewage was collected, it will be sent to Sewage Disposal Plant, which can disposal 230 thousand tons per day.

　　Fire Control
　　 There are fire brigades directly under the administration of the GIP, equipped with professional fire engines such as water tanker, foam tanker, carbon dioxide fire engines and so on.

　　Highway
　　 Yangzhou enjoys a developed high-way network. Guangling Industrial Park is situated at the centre of the network of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, the Beijing-Shanghai expressway, the Nanjing-Nantong expressway and the Ring road of Yangzhou.

　　Railway
　　 GIP is only 8 km away from Yangzhou railway station and 3 Km away from the railway cargo station. The Yangzhou Railway station, through which you can reach anywhere around the country, is the centre of the passenger transport on the north coast of the Yangtze River. It is also the storage center and comprehensive wharf of railway, highway and waterway transportations that have complete facilities and advanced management.

　　Air Flight
　　 It is only about 1 hour drive from GIP to Nanjing Lukou International Airport and only about 3 hours to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, and Pudong International Airport. The new Suzhong Airport in planning is only about 30 minutes to GIP by bus.

　　Port
　　 Yangzhou Port, only 15 Km away from GIP, is one of the national class I port opening to the outside world, with ten thousand-ton-class-general-cargo and 11 multi-functional piers with the volume of freight handled 26 million tons. Besides, there are bonded warehouses and inspection & verification offices. There is also a large logistic center about 2 square kilometers along the Grand Canal in GIP.
